Local Training Opportunities

Regular training for all comers is available on the first and third Sundays of each month.  These sessions are held at the Woolston Training Centre starting at 1600.  Come along and get involved, it is an opportunity to train with other competitors and learn from each other, including some of our most experienced local competitors.  For further details email: ray.pratt@fire.org.nz

 

    Jack Hickey

Now if you're really serious, take a look at this for a training plan.  Jack Hickey has won multiple Canadian and 9 World Championships.  This program will give you an idea of the dedication that some of the top internationals need!  user/custfire/file/TRAINING_JACK_HICKEY.pdf

But don't worry, we are working on a simpler training plan that will suit mere mortals, this should be available very soon, watch this space.

 

Dr Paul Davis

Paul Davis is the man who dreamed this event up, he is the creator and owner of the event that he runs full-time through his U.S. company OnTarget Challenge.  Dr Paul has created a series of youtube instructional videos that take you through each evolution, take a look here: FCC Instructions. 

One thing to be aware of when looking at the videos is that there are subtly different rules regarding in, particular PPE, other than that the same rules apply.
